A Log burner with wood supplied. This house sleeps 10 and 3 in the sleep out. If you are not a boat owner, do not count this one out as we can organise a water taxi to bring you out. You will be met at the jetty and helped with your gear.

The property captures all day sun. It has water and tidal estuary views (ideal for bird watchers) also has versatile living areas (would suit two families ). Up stairs master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, all the rest are down stairs. Bathroom and living areas downstairs are suitable for wheel chair access.
20 minutes road access from Picton, sleeps eight in two queen size beds, two single beds and one set of bunks. Modern kitchen with great views to the bay across the road. Flat lawn for games, badminton etc. Handy to the shops. Can launch boat at local slipway or at Ngakuta Bay. Close to Picton and the ferries also close to the beginning of Queen Charlotte track (Anakiwa end).
This delightful two bedroom cottage also has a separate sleep out with double bed and a modern ensuite. Mahau Magic has all the essentials for a relaxing sounds holiday. With it's own Private Beach across the road from the house,(may not be suitable for young children) mooring and dinghy available free for your use. Bush surrounds and bush walks, wonderful sea views and the last of the evening sun and a perfect spot by the water for a evening BBQ on those lovely summer evenings. Ideal fishing from the beach for that snapper and handy to the Queen Charlotte Track for your mountain biking and walking. Plenty of bird life including tuis and bell birds.
A lovely private spot overlooking the Pelorus Sound. The house is about 8 years old and sleeps 4 to 6 with a sleep out and a room that can be shut off from the sitting area. A jetty, mooring and water taxis can be arranged. Catch a snapper off the jetty and enjoy the oysters in the bay. a very private spot with ever changing views, only twenty minutes by boat from Havelock.

The house sleeps up to eight and is the ideal spot for relaxing, bird watching, fishing, boating, kayaking and handy to Havelock. Near by is the wine growing region of Marlborough. You are just thirty minutes away from Renwick and it's well known vineyards of Nautilus, Forrest Estate, Framingham and Hunters to name just a few. The nearby Pelorus river is an ideal swimming place and is one of the locations for the filming of the Hobbit movie. .

There is a dinghy for your use. This comfortable house with lovely views and would be a great location for a break away from it all. It is not a suitable house for children younger than 5 years old.
A comfortable house which would suit two families and is situated two minutes walking distance from Raetihi Lodge (Restaurant and your coffee fix, during peak season). It has four bedrooms and is privately set with views over looking Kenepuru Sound. Drive on access and wheel chair access. There is a mooring for up to 60ft boats, kayaks and dinghy available with a swimming beach in the cove below the house. Ideal spot to base yourselves for a holiday. Mountain biking, a golf course, swimming, kayaking, fishing and walks all nearby.
You will be impressed with this Beach House! This very private property will guarantee you and your family a safe and enjoyable holiday in this very desirable location. Discover all the delights of water front living with amazing views across the pristine waters of the bay. Collect scallops just off the beach and great fishing within meters of the jetty. Located approximately 15-20 minutes by boat from Picton or Waikawa (boat access only). There is a mooring in the bay for guest use only.
The Foxy Lady is a grand 60ft launch. She will give you the Marlborough Sounds experience that no land based holiday home could ever hope to.
YOU WILL BE VERY ISOLATED WHILST LIVING ON THE BOAT AND HAVE NO ACCESS TO SHOPS, PLEASE BRING ALL OF YOUR FOOD AND ESSENTIAL TRAVEL/MEDICAL ITEMS WITH YOU.
This boat stay is similar to an Airbnb, a continental breakfast is included but all other meals are the responsibility of the guests.
There are 2 options -
OPTION 1 - Available all year. She will pick you up from TeMahia jetty and give you a short sail to a sheltered mooring for your night stay. You will then be free to experience boat living at its finest. We will pick you up from TeMahia jetty at 4pm. Your return time will be 10am on the day of your departure.
OPTION 2 - Available 1 November - 30 April. Catch the Pelorus Mail Boat from Havelock at 0930 for a cruise through the Marlborough Sounds on her daily run, she will then transport you to The Foxy Lady within the Marlborough Sounds. The Foxy Lady will be waiting in the perfect place somewhere in the outer sounds ready for your overnight stay. The Mail Boat will moor alongside and transfer you and your gear. You will be picked up by The Mail Boat on your departure date and returned to Havelock. Times will vary depending on The Mail Boat run.
Guest access - You will be able to roam the boat at your leisure, being mindful that it is a boat and children may need to wear lifejackets when on deck (we can provide these).
Guest interaction - The skipper and 1st mate will stay on the boat with you at all times. They are very sociable and love sharing the Marlborough Sounds experience with you.
Getting there - TeMahia jetty is on Kenepuru Rd off Queen Charlotte Drive. It is 1 hour drive from Havelock or 1.5 hours from the Picton ferry terminal (allowing extra time for photo stops). Havelock is on SH 6 between Blenheim/Picton and Nelson.
There is free limited public parking at TeMahia jetty .
Bring your sleeping bags or we can provide linen for $20 each, please enquire.
There is a required cleaning fee of $60 per stay.
We offer a free continental breakfast or $15 per person for a cooked option. If you choose the cooked option and have any dietary requirements please inform us prior to your arrival.
Any cruises or use of fishing gear are negotiated with the skipper on board or with us prior to your stay, they are an additional cost.
There may be an option of dining at Raetihi Lodge for a meal, please contact us regarding this or speak with your skipper during the stay. This option is an additional cost.

This beautiful Kiwi Bach is a true holiday home in The Marlborough Sounds; and has been recently renovated throughout. With new furniture, bedding and appliances, this relaxed and comfortable holiday home is an ideal option for extended family groups. She sleeps up to 14 guests and has access to the waters edge just out your front gate.
It includes comfortable open plan living upstairs. The fireplace is a great option for winter hideaways with wood supplied, or utilise the easy indoor/outdoor flow onto the deck for a cruisy summer set up!
Upstairs are lovely large sized bedrooms. Downstairs has two huge bedrooms, bedroom 3 has a queen bed plus a futon sofa bed with a coffee table - ideal for a quiet cup of coffee! Bedroom 4 is very spacious which includes 3 single bunk sets, flat screen TV, DVD player, toys and bean bags - perfect for the kids!
Enjoy swimming and kayaking just moments from your door or set out on an adventure with some great cycle and walking tracks in the area. Enjoy the best of both worlds with Havelock town centre and its boat ramp (Pelorus Sounds) less than 10 minute drive away in one direction, and the boat ramp at Anakiwa (Queen Charlotte Sounds) less than 10 minutes drive away in the other direction.
